Australia has one huge attraction and that is its sheer awe inspiring natural beauty. It's landscape varies from sun baked horizons to thick and lush tropical rainforest to wind swept beaches in the south. Along the endless coastlines, there is a strong love for food and art with a thoroughly chilled-out atmosphere and a strong desire for sport and outdoors activities.

Australia's geography is diverse, you wont see the bright lights of the city and deep thick jungle at the same time, the distance between these totally different regions of Australia are huge! Australia is a massive country, often forgotton but its actually more than twice the size of Europe!

Unlike in the west, Australias summer holiday period is over Christmas time, this is when prices are always higher, the weather is steaming hot and hotels gets booked quickly. Go to Australia in December & January and you will find that virtually everyone is on holiday!

Australia loves its entertainment. The big calendar event in Australia's rock festival is the one a year Big Day Out, where local and international groups appear in many major cities at the back end of January. The huge Sydney Festival, also in January, is the corner stone event for live concerts, theatre in the streets and of course tremendous firework displays.
